Brandon Reporter: Brandon VT
Graphic designer for the weekly newspaper. Interview and write articles, coordinate and design ads,
write op-eds.
06.2020–present
   
Vermont Coalition for Palestinian Liberation (An all volunteer organization)
Co-organized and launched the statewide Apartheid Free Community campaign in 2023. Co-devloped,
researched, wrote content for and designed information pamphlets. Designed all coalition campaign
materials. Continue to develop co-create and present information sessions to businesses, organizations,
and government bodies statewide, as well as gather signatures and speak to constituents around
the state.

Lipis Advisors: Berlin, Germany
        Responsible for the graphic communications of this financial analysis company, as well as contributing   
        to research. This includes designing brochures, reports, and announcements.

    Middlebury College: Middlebury, VT
        Taught a Winter-term graphic design class. The students learned design history and typography
        culminating in a student designed professionally printed cook book, or political poster.

        Work on a free-lance basis at the Middlebury College Communications department, and the Middlebury
        College Museum of Art. I work on the quarterly magazine as well as creating various posters, postcards,

    The Edgewater Gallery: Middlebury, VT
        In house Designer and Photographer for art gallery. Assist with displays and hanging of new shows.
        Responsible for daily tasks in running the gallery as well.

        Production for a medical video company. I work with ten project managers to help them reach their
        presentation goals and meet deadlines.

    General Working Group: San Francisco, CA
        Production, research and design work for one of my professors, including the creation of building
        sections for printers to plan a photography exhibit in downtown San Francisco, and the creation of
        icons for a Chinese Almanac.

    Smithsonian: Washington, DC
        Volunteer in ImaginAsia, the children's education program, at the Sackler Galleries. Assist children                 in creating art projects based on Sackler exhibits.

    Anthropologie: Tysons Corner, VA
        Visual Sales for top store in Mid-Atlantic district. Using various media, created stylized and inviting
        displays throughout the store. Oversaw store shifts and assisted in the layout of store.

Designed the autobiographical book for James P. Blair, a retired staff photographer for the
National Geographic.

Avideh Shashaani & Archbishop Desmond Tutu: Washington, DC
Created the design for Something Deeper Happened: Young Voices and the 2008 U.S. Election,
a compilation of reflections on the 2008 election by young adults.
2010

Avideh Shashaani: Washington, DC
Created the design for Scarlett Tears, a book of poetry, then the redesign for the anniversary reprint.
Created the redesign for Asking God for God.
